ContentBridge
ContentBridge provides access to email-centric content relating to business objects inside of the standard Microsoft Outlook interface:
- Recognizes pieces of information in the e-mail, such as order numbers, customer numbers, customer names, and so forth, tags, and highlights them
- Consolidates and displays relevant search results from a corporate system in a pane within Microsoft Outlook
- Enables users to immediately react on email – update information, share it with colleagues, log a call, schedule a meeting, etc.
Why content integration?
Customer-facing employees spend most of their work day in Microsoft Outlook, communicating with their clients. E-mails may contain questions regarding invoices, purchase orders, and other information. Normally users would need to log in to a corporate system and search for required information to respond to customer inquires. This is a time-consuming process to find all pieces of relevant information.
ContentBridge empowers users with actual data when they most need it – in the context of customer interaction. ContentBridge aggregates email-centric content relating to business objects from a corporate system and provides access to this content in the Microsoft Outlook user-friendly environment.
