CRM Desktop is an offering that integrates Siebel, Fusion, and Oracle's CRM On Demand with Microsoft Outlook based on InivisbleBridge - InvisibleCRM's Outlook and Lotus Notes integration platform. The new offering allows users of Siebel, Fusion CRM and CRM On Demand to natively integrate Contacts, Appointments and Emails of Microsoft Outlook with CRM, as well as bring into Outlook Customers, Opportunities, Leads and any other objects, including customer specific objects. It increases productivity of Outlook and CRM users while they are offline as well as online. Oracle released CRM Desktop for Siebel in early 2010, and announced it will make the Fusion CRM edition available to initial customers in Q4 2010. CRM Desktop for Oracle's CRM On Demand will be released with R19 according to the current Oracle product roadmap.
“We are proud to work with the Oracle CRM product teams on CRM Desktop, the most advanced Outlook and Lotus Notes CRM Integration on the market today. They have an incredible focus on advancing user adoption across Applications Unlimited and Fusion CRM products. With CRM Desktop, they can now provide a solution that leverages the power of CRM in the personal productivity tools like Microsoft Outlook and IBM's Notes where many users spend most of their time.", said Dwight DePalmer, President of InvisibleCRM. "Access offline means taking Siebel, Fusion or CRM On Demand with you anywhere and anytime. A robust alternative to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, providing the best of both worlds - an enterprise class CRM backend and a work-where-you-are approach to personal productivity in the tools you know best."
InvisibleBridge provides desktop applications such as Microsoft Outlook, IBM Lotus Notes and other applications with tight integration with Enterprise systems through Web Service APIs and delivers unique usability and productivity value. Fully functional integration is also available offline, keeping both sides up to date when an Internet connection is present. In the background, it uses highly granular filters to control the amount of local data, and can resolve collisions on a field level. InvisibleBridge is available for ISVs as a platform, and allows software vendors to build integrations of their systems with Outlook, Lotus Notes and Windows environment easily and quickly, minimizing their R&D spending and time-to-market.
