InvisibleCRM Announces InvisibleStudio Toolset Release for Siebel

InvisibleCRM announces the upcoming release of InvisibleStudio, a toolset developed to automate and simplify the customization of the CRM Desktop application.
Once CRM Desktop (the Outlook integration solution for Siebel and CRM On Demand) was launched, it became obvious that its integration required significant efforts and a unique knowledge base to implement. In most cases the need for developer resources that specialize in XML and JAVA code expertise are necessary.
The nature of software integration is in itself complicated. Integration with a highly customized CRM/ERP system is even more complex and developers are the ones most directly impacted.
Developers need to “marry” the specifics of both products to properly reflect CRM customizations in Outlook, add features to Outlook in line with server application “spirit” and keep offline behavior in mind. Additionally, they must take into account the details of how to configure various other aspects of the product.
With a desire to automate the entire customization process and make it as simple as possible, InvisibleCRM started working on InvisibleStudio with the first release supporting CRM Desktop for Siebel (Siebel version 3.04 and above) planned for Q4 2011.
InvisibleStudio (one of the Gold Partner Program components) is an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tailored for customers who work on customization of OutlookBridge-based products.
It allows working with customization packages as projects, providing convenient tools to create a new package from a vanilla configuration, modify a package, validate package XML files, and finally run packages within the CRM Desktop application.
InvisibleStudio simplifies integration with custom Siebel configurations by allowing users to generate SOAP requests based on a current customization package and execute requests against the Siebel server – using the same code to execute those requests on the CRM Desktop. This allows developers to quickly verify the results of their work and make sure requests execute correctly against the Siebel server.
The next versions of InvisibleStudio will support integration with Microsoft Visual Studio, visual form designers and other productivity features that make developing customized packages a simple and enjoyable task.
