I would love to have some kind of bookmark-like functionality in Salesforce.com. The Recent items list just does not do this for me. I sometimes need to keep an eye on a couple of Cases, a Lead, or something I asked someone else to do through a task ... By the time I have done some work, they are all gone from my Recent items list and I need to find them one by one. This way, it is easy to forget something.

I know you could create a task for every single one, but if you are running dashboards, these clutter up the amounts, and thus, the real value of the dashboard itself.

A little button, such as an eye on top of every record, would be perfect. And, then a little eye somewhere on the Homepage that takes me to my Watchlist, any list style view would do.

Ability to add Outlook Emails to Leads

Our users prefer to create emails via Outlook, then use the Salesforce.com Outlook Edition to post salient emails to Salesforce.com. We would like to have this same functionality for Leads. At this point, we only see the functionality to create email for Leads within Salesforce.com.

Allow Emails Created Offline to be Sent and Added to Salesforce.com

We are currently using the Outlook Edition for Salesforce (Professional Edition). We would like the ability to create an email offline and still have it sent to Salesforce the next time we are connected to the Internet. Currently, if you choose to Send and Add to Salesforce when you create an email, it is not sent to Salesforce or attached to the Contact record. All emails created offline must be manually added to contacts.

The Offline Edition should give users the capability to Create, Edit and Report on Activities such as Logging a call, Adding a note, Creating a task or an event. Without this (and other features), the Offline Edition is severely limited and hard to justify its cost.

Mark Emails in Outlook as already been added to SFDC

My users sometimes add emails more than once to their Contacts because there is nothing to indicate that the emails have already been added to SFDC. I would like to suggest this feature be added to the system so that users do not add duplicates of the same email to their Contacts.

Attach Outlook Emails in Outlook File Format to Records from Outlook Addition

It would be great to attach emails from MS Outlook as an Outlook Format File attachment to a record from a button in the Outlook Edition, much the same way that you can currently add an email to Salesforce.com. This would enable you to open the attachment as an Outlook message, along with/containing its own attachments, rather than the current method, which produces a rather ugly unformatted text with none of the attachments that may have been with the original mail.

For Activities, the Outlook Edition only brings down the Contact (WhoID) to Outlook. I would like to see the “Related To” (What ID) information also brought down to Outlook.

Needs the capability of synchronizing same contacts to Outlook for different users.
Currently, only the owner of contacts can do the synchronization because Salesforce.com lacks the capability to define co-owners for the same contact.

My users and I often forget to synchronize our offline edition before trips. I suggest that a scheduler be added that would automatically synchronize the offline edition. This could use the Windows Scheduler or its own.
