Only Selected Contacts should be Synchronized with Outlook
|
|
Not all of my contacts could be synchronized with Outlook. Why? Two examples: - Some of them are marked as "deactivated" (contact is dead or left the client, but has not be deleted since there is an important history)
- You do not want your Outlook crowded with too many contacts (or, your mobile phone, which you synchronize with Outlook, only support 500 contacts)

Need Ability to Log a Call, Add a Note, Add a Task/Event etc. in Offline Edition
|
|
The Offline Edition should give users the capability to Create, Edit and Report on Activities such as Logging a call, Adding a note, Creating a task or an event. Without this (and other features), the Offline Edition is severely limited and hard to justify its cost.

What InvisibleCRM Support Team Guru say:
Do it with SalesDesktop
Working offline with SalesDesktop you get all the possibilities of working with Salesforce.com items. You can: - add new items (Contacts, Accounts, Leads, Opportunities, Activities)
- add notes, attachments to any items
- modify items
- send and save emails to Salesforce.com
The only difference between working online and offline is the possibility to synchronize items with Salesforce.com. If offline synchronization is disabled, but as soon as you go online, all changes you have made in Outlook and all changes from your Salesforce.com account will be synchronized between these locales. You do not need to remember what exactly you have changed or that you need to start synchronization. SalesDesktop will do all these tasks for you automatically.

What InvisibleCRM Support Team Guru say:
Do it with SalesFolder
SalesFolder provides you with the possibility to work with documents and attachments downloaded on your desktop independently, irrespective of online or offline connections. You can also attach new files to Salesforce.com items or Documents folders in an offline mode. To get these new documents available on your Salesforce.com account, you need just to synchronize SalesFolder with Salesforce.com. The only limitation is that synchronization is, of course, possible only in an online mode.
